We have all met someone whose favorite weapon was a malevolent glare, have all seen unexpected events occur after meeting up with certain people, and have all felt an unwanted look over our shoulder at times when we were alone, to then experience a series of sickening events. Whether alleviation comes from frantically sliding the beads of a mesbaha, from praying or from burning incense, these beliefs and fears inhabit some of us, and have occupied our ancestors minds for so many generations that they have become a part of us. May we be protected from the 3yn.
